Nearby at Bigbury on Sea you can cross by sea tractor to Burgh Island, with its elegant art deco hotel, and the popular towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth are both a short drive away. West Vane was originally the left wing of the original Manor House. Now stylishly converted, with high ceilings and bright, airy rooms throughout, you'll find lots of original features offering glimpses into the splendour of the estate's affluent past. A private corner garden overlooks the large grounds. On the ground floor, the sunlit lounge/diner has a double aspect and bay windows overlooking the gardens, and the neat kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a huge double with king-size bed and garden views, and a bright and cheery bunk room.
